My 10-Year Journey After Kidney Transplant

My 10-Year Journey After Kidney Transplant: The Hidden Secret of Staying Healthy I have successfully completed ten years of my journey after a kidney transplant, and I am grateful to say that I am living comfortably without major complications. I do not suffer from blood pressure problems, diabetes, or kidney function issues at present. Many people ask what the hidden secret behind this stable and healthy life is. The truth is simple but powerful: consistent discipline, strict adherence to medical advice, and a balanced lifestyle. There is no magic — only regular habits followed sincerely every day. The first and most important secret is that I take my medicines exactly as prescribed by my doctor. I never skip a dose, never delay it, and never adjust it on my own. Medication after a kidney transplant is not optional — it is life-supporting. These medicines protect the transplanted kidney and maintain balance in the body. I follow the timetable strictly. Even when I travel or feel...

"Interstellar: The Movie" by Casey Musgraves is an album-length music video with meditations on failed marriages and survival

  Blame Beyonce.

Of course, album-length music videos have existed since the 1980s, but this format has been making a comeback since the lemonade in 2016.  Casey Musgraves’ "Interstellar: The Movie" is the latest such work this year, following Olivia Rodrigo’s Sour Ball and Halsey’s "If I Can’t Have Love,  I want strength" after.  It was released in September 2021 with her latest album, Star-Crossed, and is currently being broadcast on Paramount+. It is directed by cameraman Bardia Zeinali, who also played for Justin Bieber and Ariane  Ariana Grande and others made music videos.

Star-Crossed found Musgraves at the crossroads of personal and professional.  Although her roots lie in country music and popular production machines in Nashville, she has been pushing the boundaries of the genre since the prime time of 2018.  Listening to the new album roughly, the country’s acoustic instruments and story song traditions are often overshadowed by sound textures borrowed from disco, 70s soft rock, indie folk and modern pop music.  ’

According to Billboard magazine, although Musgraves is a 6-time Grammy Award winner, 5 of which are from the country music category, the Grammy Nomination Committee believes that Star-Crossed is not eligible to consider the country album of the year.  Musgraves discussed the move publicly on social media, claiming: "You can take this girl out of this country (genre), but you can't take this country away from this girl." However, such as in  Popular savvy actions such as performing live nudes on Saturday night and answering FaceTime calls from The Bieb made people think the lady protested too much.

In 2017, Musgraves married country singer and songwriter Ruston Kelly.  Their divorce in 2020 reflects almost all the facts of the album Interstellar.  "Let me set the scene where two lovers are torn apart at the seam," Musgraves sang in the opening title song, and continued from there, from love to heartache to healing.  In addition to her personal history, she also said that the album was influenced by the three-act narrative of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet and the Greek tragedy.

Perhaps by accident, Interstellar: This movie is visually reminiscent of one of Bazluman's Romeo and Juliet. It is a post-modern mix of high and low fashion and location, partly dreamland, partly American.  After the opening of what looked like the dressing room of a strip club, Musgraves sang the title song bleakly on the monotonous desert road in a wedding dress, surrounded by dancers in colorful costumes.

Keeping the dramatic allusion, "ACT 1" flashes on the screen.  We saw Musgraves shine with RuPaul’s Drag Race winner Symone, rapper Nokia Princess and actress Victoria Pedretti in the wedding shop. This may be a recognition of her single life that she left before going to the wife’s training school.  , Where she taught a better point of domestic happiness.  The song "Good Life" comes and goes in these two scenes, and during the 48-minute movie, the other album editing is the same. This is not exactly a music video, but it is recommended to listen to the visual effects on the screen.

"ACT II" discovered that Kacey sang the hit song "Justified" as she drove through different regions and weather, which was a metaphor for the mixed emotions she felt when she broke up.  Sometimes she would cry, sometimes she would smoke a poorly rolled cigarette.  She suffered a car accident and literally fell to pieces, her head sang "camera roll".  A nurse in a tight skirt and high heels picked her up on the Los Angeles river bank and took her to the hospital, where Eugene Levy stitched her back and put on a steel breastplate. I think she won’t be sad anymore.

"ACT III" is determination and acceptance.  Musgraves returned to the Los Angeles River and tried to run past a black stallion, which was a very stupid visual effect.  She found a bottle of medicine, took one, had hallucinations, and finally went to church.  She then sang "Gracias a la Vida", translated as "Thanks for Life", composed by Chilean writer and composer Violeta Parra (Violeta Parra), who committed suicide in 1967.  The choice of the cover is what Casey said, love and loss are better than loss. Never loved, heartache is part of the journey and is vital to her growth.

Although Kacey Musgraves has been engaged in professional performance since she was a child, she did not become famous overnight.  At the age of 33, she sang about adult relationships and their pitfalls with an authority that her contemporaries lacked.  My teenage daughter described her as "like a funny aunt."  As an album, "Interstellar" may be a rumor of her generation and "Interstellar: The Movie" shows that Musgraves' ambitions as an artist transcend the music industry's attempts to classify her into any narrow classification.

Five-day meditation trip It always disrupts my daily life in the middle of the semester. I sleep more and more late, and my meals become lazier and lazier. Therefore, in order to slow down my deteriorating body and mind, I decided to try to set some time for myself for five days. Initially, this should be a meditation work, but I quickly realized that as long as you set aside time to focus on yourself, meditation can take different forms. This is what I learned. Before the process: Before I started this process, my hopes were relatively low. I hope that at least, it can give me time to arrange my schedule, and at most it can provide me with a new way out, allowing me to arrange and relax in life. Unfortunately, I started a five-day commitment on Saturday morning and hoped to achieve the best results. first day I got up a bit late today, so I decided to take a longer journey to work to save my "my time". In this walk, I just listen to music and reflect on my week. Honestly, I found this surprisingly relaxing. Although this is not what most people think when talking about meditation, it worked for me. I ended my walk with a better mind and prepared for the day. Day 2 The second day of meditation was relatively smooth. I got up earlier and had more time for myself in the morning. In my words, this means that I have enough time to make breakfast for myself before rushing to school. However, during breakfast, I made sure to set aside 10 minutes for reflection and meditation. At first, I thought it was weird because I didn't use something productive or something to occupy my mind, but in the end, I started to feel more relaxed and settle down more easily. Day 3 The third day was very difficult. I am very tired on weekends and I have not finished some homework ahead of schedule. So, in fact, I had to meditate on the road again. Although I am not completely stagnant like the day before, I will claim that today's time feels equally relaxed with the help of the playlist I made for myself. I listened to a few relaxing songs, and then listened to nothing. I walked to the campus, just admiring the scenery and my thoughts. Day 4 To be honest, I didn't have time to reflect for a long time, because the schedule on day 4 was very busy. In order to adapt, I moved the meditation time to night. It’s good to settle down in the dark and quiet and spend some time alone, but I find that being too quiet before going to bed is a bad thing. I realized that I need to persist in the morning. Day 5 I am surprised that this is the last day of my meditation journey-it feels so fast and I enjoy it. Although things did not develop exactly as I thought, and my schedule did not allow me to sit alone at the time I originally hoped, I still enjoyed my experience and welcomed the last day with open arms. It was raining on the fifth day, so I sat down, watched the rain, and enjoyed a few minutes of myself, my thoughts and my loneliness-I felt a bit like Thoreau when I did this. Although this is by no means comparable to true meditation, I think I did learn more about myself and how to settle down in stressful weeks through this process. Some days are more challenging than others, and sometimes I can't shut down my thoughts to fully integrate myself, but in general, I like this experience and recommend it to others. This may not take the form of mediation, but I suggest you just take the time to yourself, no matter what form it takes. Contact Isabella Carreno [email protected
