Turning point
I have been overweight for about 11 years, but problems occurred after I gave birth to my son. I tried many weight loss programs and even lost a few kilograms, but after a while, I gained 2-3 kilograms more than before. In addition, the energy level was very low, and by then, I also started to feel knee pain.
As a fashion-centric profession, I feel that over time, I cannot be myself confidently. I realized that I must become healthier to represent myself better. Fortunately, I saw the transformation of my friend on Facebook. She introduced me to a great weight loss coach who can help me get back to the shape I was 11 years ago. This is the real way I started my weight loss journey and stay away from healthy weight loss and benefit from more health problems.

Diet followed
This is the most important change for me, but I am most happy about it. According to the needs of my body, I ate all my 3 meals, which are full of nutrients. Until now, I have never been told to eat correctly instead of less. She designed a meal plan based on my body shape and researched the root causes of weight gain.
So, on an average day, I eat something like oatmeal/chili pancake/ragi dosa/porridge or poha for breakfast, any kind of fruit and a cup of black coffee and tea.
My lunch and dinner include 1-2 pancakes, a seasonal subzi, a daal and another bowl of salad and yogurt. My dinner time is about 7 to 8 pm, and I tend to eat less at that time.
In addition, I don’t have any specific fat-reducing foods. I just focus on increasing the intake of healthy and nutritious meals that fit my calorie window. I just increased my water intake and only eat junk food in my cheat meals. That's too, I prefer to prepare these meals only at home.

Exercise followed
My exercises are also tailored to my physical needs. This gradually increases my endurance and does not feel a burden to me. Some form of aerobic exercise, weightlifting (all done at home) and walking for 20-30 minutes a day are things that I started to integrate into my life.

I believe that although there is no specific fitness secret, the four core pillars of a healthy and beautiful life are:
1. Healthy eating
2. Nutrition
3. Exercise

How can I make sure that I stay focused?
I monitor my weight every other day. In addition, I keep a diary, which records my meals and exercises I follow, my mood changes, and energy levels.
How can I stay motivated?
Here, I want to thank my coach. Her regular monitoring of my diet and exercise and her valuable feedback (sometimes positive and sometimes constructive) kept me motivated throughout the weight loss process.
What is the most difficult part of being overweight?
It’s really bad when you can’t put on your favorite clothes, always feel low energy, stressed, and afraid of health problems.
Lifestyle changes I made:
After consulting my coach, I know that eating right and on time is the key to successful weight loss, but never eat less.

Lessons learned from losing weight
I realized that weight loss is not as difficult as people think, as long as you take proper guidance and correct guidance. As far as I am concerned, I feel that my coach is more focused on healing my body through correct and healthy eating habits. Losing weight is just a by-product of my diet.
